Choosing a string requires a bit more information. On the information page about stringing, the string tension and why it varies is already explained. Another choice is the type of string. Of course, there are many options here as well, so it’s helpful to know a bit more about the strings. There are many types of strings, and we can’t cover them all, so here are the most commonly used strings.

This string is 0.70 mm thick and therefore durable, making it very suitable for beginner and intermediate players. It is also the most popular choice. The string is available in white, black, yellow, and orange in stock.

This string is also 0.70 mm thick and just as durable as the BG65, but due to the titanium coating, it offers a harder and sharper feel. Therefore, it is better suited for players who hit harder. This string is available in white and in stock.

The BG80 is a thinner string than the BG65 (0.68 mm) and contains Vectran™ fibers. This string has a slightly rougher texture, providing more control over the shuttle. Because it is thinner, it also offers more feel. The BG80 is also suitable for players who make powerful and precise shots.

The BG80 Power (0.68 mm) is similar to the BG80 but provides even more repulsion, resulting in more powerful shots.

This string is known for its durability and repulsion. It is a mix between the 0.70 mm and the 0.68 mm strings. The string provides a medium feel and is therefore suitable for players looking for speed and durability.

The Exbolt 63 is made from the innovative Forged Fibre, a new material that provides a unique combination of thin thickness, fast repulsion, and durability. With a thickness of only 0.63 mm, this string offers the speed and control of a thin string without sacrificing longevity – it is even 24% more durable than strings of similar thickness. On top of that, Exbolt delivers a high hitting sound and excellent control, making it ideal for dynamic and precise play.

The Exbolt 65 is the newest addition to the Exbolt series, designed for players seeking extra control without sacrificing speed. Like the Exbolt 63, this string is made from the innovative Forged Fibre, but the 65 version has an extra advantage: a special Elasticity Outer coating. This flexible outer layer provides better shuttle hold, giving you more grip and feel with every shot. With a thickness of 0.65 mm, the Exbolt 65 still offers the fast repulsion the series is known for, but with that little extra precision on drops, clears, and drives. Despite its control and thin construction, the string is remarkably durable – much stronger than other strings of similar thickness. The Exbolt 65 combines speed, control, and reliability in one string, ideal for players who enjoy fast play with a refined feel.

The Exbolt 68 is designed for players who want to feel confident with every shot. Thanks to the innovative Forged Fibre material, this string combines a sturdy construction with excellent playing characteristics. With a thickness of 0.68 mm, it is the thickest string in the Exbolt series, providing extra stability, durability, and a solid feel upon impact. While thinner strings excel in speed, the Exbolt 68 offers more control and comfort without feeling heavy. The shuttle stays on the string a little longer, giving you more control over direction and pace – ideal for a game focused on precision and tactics. Despite its robust build, the Exbolt 68 retains the signature fast repulsion of the series, along with a clear hitting sound and reliable lifespan. Perfect for players who aim for consistent performance, rally after rally.
